Orinnoro collection is inspired by the Orinniro gorge located in central Finland. The tall shape as well as the color combinations mirror the atmosphere in the silent natural formation. The design philosophy is to reflect the calm Northern aesthetics. The collection is also created as a recycled glass version.
The Orinnoro design has evolved into glass/bronze combinations, where mouth-blown glass serves as a balancing element, gently holding the heavy bronze in place. Although the bronze elements could easily shatter the glass, the entirety of the artwork is in balance, and the elements protect each other.

Every 65 cm tall jar has unique color hue that is created with a modern interpretation of a classic Incalmo glass blowing technique. The rhythm of the glass making process ensures that each object has a unique play of color. Orinnoro is awarded with A’Design Award in 2022. Orinnoro pieces can be found from Majuri’s studio, Taiko and Momono.
